Puppy Agreement

Health Guarantee and Puppy Purchase Agreement

Mountain Family Labradoodle guarantees that your Labradoodle puppy is of sound health at the time of sale. The puppy has a 5-day guarantee from any life threatening diseases. The purchaser must take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within the first 5 days.  This is to be done within the first 5 days in order for the purchaser to receive a replacement puppy of equal value or a refund. The purchaser must provide us with a written statement from a veterinarian that declares the puppy unhealthy stating exactly the condition of the puppy. Puppies must be returned immediately. Mountain Family Labradoodle is not responsible for any veterinary bills incurred under any circumstances.

Mountain Family Labradoodle puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract and require proof of spay/ neuter at 6 months of age. If arrangements have been made to purchase a puppy for breeding rights at the time of sale, these conditions do not apply.

Deposits are non-refundable. Be sure you are serious about purchasing a new family member before sending a deposit.  If I am unable to deliver the puppy for any reason, a full refund will be issued.   We do not hold puppies without a deposit.  We accept checks for deposits, however, final payments must be made by money order, wire transfer, or cash. We do not accept checks as final payments unless they are cleared before the puppy is to leave.

The purchaser agrees to maintain the puppy in a humane environment with ample shelter, a healthy diet, fresh water, exercise, appropriate veterinary care, human interaction and training. The purchaser also agrees to maintain immunization against rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and other communicable diseases as recommended by a qualified veterinarian.  If for any reason the purchaser is not able to keep his/her puppy, Mountain Family Labradoodle should be notified. Mountain Family Labradoodle will always take back any puppy we have produced at any time, no questions asked.

Labradoodles are intelligent animals that require stimulation, attention and consistent training and socialization opportunities. Mountain Family Labradoodle strongly encourages the purchaser to enroll the puppy in basic obedience classes and provide appropriate opportunities for socialization with children, other dogs, and strangers.

The puppy is guaranteed against life threatening/severe hereditary conditions for one year. A written document from a licensed veterinarian describing the hereditary condition is required and the dog must be returned.  A replacement puppy will be provided just as soon as one can be available.

Puppies are generally ready around 8 weeks of age.  Some puppies take a little longer and we never let a puppy go until we feel they are ready.  Perspective buyers must be willing to wait until the puppy is ready to go home.

Use of Comfortis, Trifexis or other oral flea prevention products voids all warranties. Topical treatment only for fleas and ticks is recommended.  We recommend Revolution. Oral flea treatment pills are known to sometimes cause vomiting, seizures, and other serious ailments.

You agree to all terms and conditions in this agreement and acknowledge that you have read and agree if you purchase a puppy from us.  Please print this page out, sign, and return via mail or email to Mountain Family Labradoodle for our records, and we will return a signed copy to the purchaser.
